The Kayaking Comapny was flat out last weekend the 18th and 19th of April.
Hosting a level 2 instructor training weekend In Limerick for scouts, the course was run from Shannonbanks scout hall. The tutors Paul and Laura played a blinder and delivered an awesome course.
The weather was fantastic and the venue turned out to be excellent with the river Shannon five metres from the class room.
The Kids Kayaking Academy did a river trip from Castleconnell to Clareville on Saturday. Three brave souls jumped the fifteen foot jump into the river to cool off halfway down and everyone was paddling great, good times all round.
On Sunday we had a group of scouts from Shannonbanks 25th Limerick on the water. Again the weather was fantastic and the group had a great time. We hope to see them again on the water as there Scout Hall is five metres from the river. They should be able to put together a very successful kayaking program for their group.
